Here are some designs created based on some butterfly pictures I found. The designs are on three separate canvases which join together to make one painting. I enjoyed painting outside of a project and not having to stick within any limits. I hope I can continue painting more from now on and see what I can create!

Perfume Penguin Book Cover Design.
The design I have here is from this years submission to the Penguin Book cover competition.
The story was Patrick Suskind's Perfume. It was a difficult story to illustrate without drawing the obvious of a perfume bottle or woman being killed. I was also conscious of how I wanted to
get the text to interact with the image because in the past I have produced designs where these two elements have been too separate. Overall I was fairly happy with the design because I able to combine my print making type elements with more photoshopped ideas.

Final Major Project. Finished Designs.
Featured below are my final photoetchings based around Roald Dahl's story 'The Landlady'. The images have been slightly adjusted using Photoshop but not to the point much where the essence of the print has been lost. The images appear in the order that they are in the story.

Printed Works
Below are a series of images taken from various projects. The fruit prints were created for an advert for PJ smoothies, the drypoint print was created to emphasize the old architecture in Maidstone. The screen print is from a project I did about my family, it features my dads face when he was a child.

Jimmy Hendrix Project- Exhibition images
Political Project
The prints featured here were created in 2009 when I investigated the political side of Maidstone. This led me to create a series of prints based around the town hall and how elaborate it is. I also wanted to show in these prints how we are cut out of the political system and feel like we have little say over it. All the prints here are mono prints.
