Featured on this page is a selection of my Print making work. There are a variety of techniques as I throughly enjoying print making and all the different methods that are out there. With print making I take great pleasure in combining techniques and photoshopping elements to create new effects.
The prints featured here were created in 2009 when I investigated the political side of Maidstone. This led me to create a series of prints based around the town hall and how elaborate it is. I also wanted to show in these prints how we are cut out of the political system and feel like we have little say over it. All the prints here are mono prints.
Featured below are my final photoetchings based around Roald Dahl's story 'The Landlady'. The images have been slightly adjusted using Photoshop but not to the point much where the essence of the print has been lost. The images appear in the order that they are in the story.
Below are a series of images taken from various projects. The fruit prints were created for an advert for PJ smoothies, the drypoint print was created to emphasize the old architecture in Maidstone. The screen print is from a project I did about my family, it features my dads face when he was a child.
